Russell E. Penn, 81, of Washington Court House, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Fayette Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Pickaway County, the son of the late Ernest E. and Helen (Hildebrand) Penn.
He graduated from Pickaway Township High School.
He was retired from Mid-Ohio Chemicals.
Russell is survived by his six children, Deborah (Jack) Vest of New Vienna, Susan (Scott) Pargin of Bridgeport, Illinois, Linda (Barry) Wyatt of Pace, Florida, David (Nora) Penn of Xenia, Robbie (Tess) Penn of Urbana and Lisa (William) Dinkins of Circleville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Mary Struckman of Ashville; brother, Jack (Barbara) Penn of Washington Court House; and good friend, Jim Hildreth.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Blackwater Road in Kingston.
