Steven R. Coffey, 56, of London, died at 12:49 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 in his residence.
Born May 1, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Paul and Betty (Burkitt) Coffey.
A member of the American Legion Post No. 105.
He was employed by Bowman Trucking Company.
Survivors are three sons, Jared (Sarah), Justin, and Kyle Coffey, all of Springfield; a stepson, Shane (Angela) DeWine of Hamilton, Ohio; four step-grandchildren; his mother, Betty Coffey of London; grandmother, Louise Burkitt of Urbana; sisters, Cheryl Anders of London, and Darla (Randy) Colwell of Dayton; four nieces, Caitlin, Allison, Nicole, and Ashtyn; and a great-nephew, Greysen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Coffey in 1991; and by a sister, Pamela Sue Coffey in 1995.
Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., in London from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Rev. Steve Evans will be officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery.
If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions in Steve's name to the American Cancer Society or to the Loving Care Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
