William T. "Tom" Morris, 82, of Plain City, went to his Lord and Savior Wednesday morning, April 3, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born Sept. 16, 1930, in Louisa, Kentucky.
He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict.
Retired from National Electric Coil after 25 years of service.
Member of the Living Waters Church of God, Marysville.
Preceded in death by father, David D. Morris; mother, Nanny (Thompson) Burke; stepfather, Chester Burke; sisters, Jean Davis, Penny Smith; brother, George Morris.
Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Norma J. (Massie) Morris; children, Debbie (Mark) Yoder, Tom (Pattie Owen) Morris, Sarah (Gene) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Amy (Brandon) Payne, Bill Yoder, Kayla, Luke and Logan Morris, Selena and Alex McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor and Mitchell Payne; brothers, Bobby Morris, John Burke, Chester Burke, Jerry Burke; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Living Waters Church of God, 10910 U.S. Route 42 North, Marysville, Ohio 43040, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013. Pastor Jack Marcum will be officiating. Burial will be at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, with full military honors conducted by the Union County Honor Guard.
