Woody Hobstetter, 61, of London, died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in his home.
Born Jan. 26, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was a son of Fred and Lorainne (Conley) Hobstetter.
Woody had been self-employed as a house painter.
He was a member of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Hale) Hobstetter; daughter, Melissa (Chris) Crabbe of South Solon; sons, Michael Spangler of Mt. Sterling and Matt Hobstetter of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Hanna and Briar; mother, Lorainne Hobstetter of Bradenton, Florida; twin sister, Wilna (Wayne) Huffman of Wheelersburg; brother, John Hobstetter of Wheelersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Diana Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London. Pastor Stephen Kirby will be officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, London, where military honors will be bestowed by Madison Memorial Post No. 105, American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.
