HELEN D. RADER
WEST JEFFERSON - Helen D. Rader, 85, of Dublin, formerly of London, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born Oct. 8, 1928 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Mitchell.
Helen and her husband Dave, who preceded her in death in 2006, owned and operated the Rader Funeral Home of London from 1957-1987.
Helen was a member of London Chapter No. 386 O.E.S., London D.A.R. and TAC and Thursday Bridge Clubs, attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, London Country Club and a former member of the London First Methodist Church.
Survivors include 10 nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Roberts and Mary Butler; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara Rader Grant and husband Jack M. Grant M.D., Charlotte Rader Froncek and husband Theodore J. Froncek D.O., Mary Rader Balser, Stephen V. Rader M.D. and wife Nancy H. Rader.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, with Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Patricia Oesterle officiating. Private interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions maybe made to the Kobacker House, c/o Ohio Health Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., Floor 32 ,Columbus, OH 43215-9946.
