LYNDA LEE BERGER
LONDON - Lynda Lee Berger, 76, of London, died Monday morning, March 17, 2014, in her home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1937 in Newcastle, Wyoming, a daughter of Richard and Pauline (Bobbitt) Hansen.
Lynda taught school in Frankfort, New York and seventh grade in the Hamilton Local School District in Ohio, and left teaching in 1969. She was formerly active in the P.E.O. and the Women's Club at Lilly Chapel United Methodist Church. Lynda was an avid reader, loved hot dogs, the NCAA Basketball Tournament, The Ohio State Buckeyes, crocheting, cats and loved to cook.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth L. Berger; daughter, Holly H. Berger of London; sisters, Arlene Hansen of Greeley, Colorado, Wanda Gossman of Hudson, Wisconsin; brother, Donald (Marilyn) Hansen of Newcastle, Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 25, 2014, at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London.
