CARSON M. HARRINGTON
PLAIN CITY - Carson M. Harrington, 90, of Plain City, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 15, 2014 at his daughter's residence surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
Born July 29, 1923 in Sand Hill, Arkansas.
Our family praises the Lord for His special gifts to us. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. We will miss him very much until we meet with him in heaven.
Member of the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union, Plain City, where he was an avid supporter of Missionary work. He was an excellent gardener, gifted furniture maker and loved to spend time fishing, 50 year member of the Carpenter Union Local No. 200.
Preceded in death by parents, James William and Verna (Taylor) Harrington; loving and devoted wife, Hazel (Phillips) Harrington in 2010; brothers, Woodrow Harrington, Weldon Harrington, Burl Harrington, James Brice Harrington, Tommy Harrington and Harold Dean Harrington; sister, Irene Parker, Frances, Christine, Hope and Joyce.
Survived by loving children, Brenda (Ted) Glass, Janet (Mike) Rivers, Juanita (Scot) Deibert, Margaret (Roman) Mullet, Verna (Delmar) Headings and Carl (Teresa) Harrington; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Harrington.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union, 8280 Rickard Road, Plain City, with Pastors Phil Conrad and Raymond Carter officiating and burial Forest Grove Cemetery.
