RICKEY LEE CHERRY
MT. STERLING - Rickey Lee Cherry, 45, of New Holland, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Berger Hospital (ER) in Circleville.
He was born June 6, 1968 in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Rickey was employed by Rivers Family Farms. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara Cherry; grandparents, Bob and Francis Stone, Charles and Jessie Cherry.
He is survived by his father, Larry Cherry; brother, Donnie (Connie) Cherry; sister, Amy Taylor; Aunt and Uncle Mary Jane and Bob Chrisman; Best Friend, Slim; and a host of friends.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, with Rev. Victor Slutz officiating with the burial following in New Holland Cemetery. The Circleville Amvets Post No. 2256 will perform a military service for the Army veteran. Family and Friends are welcomed to gather at Slim's Place (Church Street) in New Holland following the service. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3.
