ELMER M. KAUFFMAN
PLAIN CITY - Elmer M. Kauffman, 93, of Marysville, passed away Monday afternoon, May 26, 2014 at his residence.
Born Oct. 17, 1920 in Plain City.
He was a diary and grain farmer all his life, the last of 14 children born to his father and a member of the Canaan Fellowship Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mose M. and Mary (Farmwald) Kauffman, who were part of the original Amish settlement in Plain City; wife of 59 years, Salina L. (Detweiler) Kauffman in 2008; daughter, Mary (Kauffman) Jordan; infant grandson, Sean Ryan Kauffman.
Survived by daughter, Dorothy (Todd) Roush of Richwood; sons, Joe, David and Marvin (Cindy) Kauffman, all of Marysville; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Kevin, Aaron, Michael, Jeremy, Shawne, Jered, Shanay, Mary, Martha and Elijah; 1 great-grandson, Trevor; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Canaan Fellowship Church, 9380 Amish Pike, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014.
