GEORGE "JOE" BRADY
LONDON - George "Joe" Brady, 80, of London, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in his residence.
Born Oct. 9, 1933 in Mt. Sterling, he was a son of Levi and Odie (Montgomery) Brady.
Joe retired from Capitol Manufacturing in West Jefferson after 30 years of service and was a member of the Progressive Nine.
Survivors include his children, Joseph Brady, George Brady and Lyle White, all of London, Rebekah (Mareo) Bland, Cynthia Martin and Belinda (Harold) Anderson and special daughters Marjorie (Dwayne) Jackson, Tonya Massey, all of Columbus; special brother, Sherman (Val) White, of London; sisters, Freda Cain of Columbus and Mary "Bert" Allen of Washington Court House; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leo and James Brady; and sister, Hattie Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until time of services Wednesday.
