PAUL J. MOORE
MARYSVILLE - Paul J. Moore, 54, of Plain City, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at Dublin Methodist Hospital following a long illness.
He was a resident of the Convalarium at Indian Run for several years while he received treatment due to heart and kidney complications.
A 1979 graduate of Fairbanks High School, he was a former associate of Mosier's IGA in Milford Center and also worked as a grocery stockman at Super Foods in Bellefontaine. In recent years, he helped his family at their restaurant, Jim's Diner, in Plain City. He was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and the OSU Buckeyes. An outdoorsman when he was able, he enjoyed camping with friends. He will be well-remembered by his family and friends as a "junk food junkie."
He was born July 4, 1960 in Kenton.
He is survived by his parents, James W. and Janet L. LeVan Moore of Plain City; two sisters, Kimberly (Charles) Wiese of Plain City and Tina Perritt of North Carolina; his brother, Jeffrey Moore of Plain City; his nieces and nephews, Kristin (Jeffrey) Ruck, Jamie (Robert) Wiese, Matthew (Katie) Murphy, Elaina Mitchell and Layla and Darian Ruck; and a special friend, Brett Clarkes.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 at East Liberty Cemetery. Pastor Lloyd Ferguson will officiate. Underwood Funeral Home, 703 E. Fifth St., Marysville is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the
