MARJORIE A. BECKER
LONDON - Marjorie A. Becker, 86, of London, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014.
Born in West Jefferson on July 11, 1928, a daughter of Charles and Helen (Gregg) Phillips.
She was a member of Plumwood United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, the 20th Century Club, Madison County Farm Bureau, former member of Springfork Grange, 4-H leader for 13 years, member of Madison County Hospital Auxiliary and served as a volunteer.
Survived by daughter, Marilyn (Ralph) Martin of Athens, Ohio; sons, Jim (Darlene) Becker, William (Donna) Becker, both of London; grandchildren, Julie Paige, Jill Becker, Jennifer Martin-Davis, Jessica Wilson, Jonathan Martin, Bryan Becker; step-grandson, David Atkins; great-grandchildren, Alec, Zak and Justine Paige; step-great-grandchildren, Jordan and David Atkins; sister, Thelma Bell of London.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald Becker; sister, Eleanor Kelly; brothers, Charles and Robert Phillips.
The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London, on from 3-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Plumwood United Methodist Church, with Pastor Carolyn Peacock officiating. Burial in Plumwood Cemetery.
