Irene Clara Scheiderer Hoy, 86, Orange City, Florida, formerly of Plain City, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.
Born Jan. 17, 1926, to Otto and Rieta Scheiderer.
Irene is survived by children, Debra Snyder and Thomas Hoy (Rowann) of Florida; grandchildren, Krystal Hoy (Matthew Gentile), Bryan Dolbeare, Mark Dolbeare, Brandon Hoy, all of Florida; and one great-grandchild Bailey Dolbeare of Florida; sisters, Ruth Neill of Florida and Julia McCoy (Keith) of Marysville; seven nieces and nephews and multiple great-nieces and nephews.
She was joyfully anticipating the birth in May 2013 of her second great-grandchild, Baby Hoy-Gentile.
Preceded in death by husband, Forest Hoy; and sister, Mary Ballard.
She was a former Ranco employee and cashier at IGA in Plain City, moving to Florida in 1974.
The family requests any remembrances be made as donations to St. Johns Lutheran Church in Marysville.
