Toby J. Miller, 71, of Plain City, passed away suddenly Monday, March 4, 2013.
Born April 18, 1941, in Hartville, Ohio.
He ran his own Miller Electric Company for many years and was employed by Civil Construction for over 35 years.
Member of the Sharon Mennonite Church, Plain City, where he was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
He lived by the belief of "What I do today will make a difference tomorrow."
Preceded in death by parents, Jonas J. and Sue (Schrock) Miller; two brothers, Herman Troyer and Vernon Miller; first wife, Martha Miller.
Survived by loving wife, Sarah Ann (Troyer) Miller, whom he married Jan. 13, 1973; children, DeAnne (Anthony) Powers, Nadine (Keith) Benner, Lovina (Nathan) Downing, Jacob Miller, Joe Miller and Sharon (Lewis) Harrison; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy (Loretta) Miller, Maynard (Rita Jones) Troyer, John (Viola DeLance) Miller, Harvey (Miriam) Miller and Sam (Karen) Troyer; sisters, Verna (Ervin) Chupp and Esther (Danny) Kelley; sister-in-laws, Iva (Clarence) Yutzy and Katie (Pharas) Rutt.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the United Bethel Mennonite Church, 11342 Plain City-Lafayette Road, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 12013. Pastor Jerry Troyer will be officiating. Burial will be at Forest Grove Cemetery.
