Cora, I hadn't seen you in a long time but I thought of you often. I would see something in a store with birds on it and think "Cora would love that" I remember you being my Sunday school teacher when I was a little girl. You have been in my life for a long long time. I will miss seeing your smiling face. I am rejoicing for you that you were able to run into the arms of Jesus!

John Lemar and I were neighbors of Cora's at the Cotton Mill Apartments. She was a joy to know. Always had a smile for everyone. Used to see her at the super market and getting in the van for church. She won a pin at the raffle for Old Hallowell Day that she wore proudly most of the time after that. We will miss her.
