Roland Latulippe Obituary

Roland Noel Latulippe Sr., 87, of Waterville, passed away April 17, 2011 in Jacobson State Veterans Home in Port Charlotte, Fla. He was born Dec. 25, 1923 in Waterville, the son of Napoleon and Aurelie (Pelletier) Latulippe.

He was a millwright and finishing carpenter. He served his country in the Navy during World War II on the U.S.S Bunker Hill in the Pacific. After the war he came home and finished his education at Waterville High School.

He was predeceased by his wives, Marie (Duguay) and Cecile Latulippe; son Roland N. Latulippe Jr. and daughter Rose Marie (Latulippe) Loder. He is survived by his daughter Evangeline Latulippe of Alexandria, Va.; his daughter-in-law Sharon Stratton Latulippe; grandsons Roland Latulippe III, Steve Loder, Jeremy Loder, Tobey Loder and Olivia Stratton; four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. A private family burial will be at a later date.

Local arrangements are with the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
