I have the best childhood memories of weekends with Grammie and Grampie, the heart of our family. We visited with aunts, uncles and our many cousins. I remember them at the farm always with hands busy. The garden, the pigs, the chickens and those mean geese.... making butter and "head-cheese".

As much as we visited them, they were always glad to make the trek to help us celebrate all the "big stuff" in our lives.

Later as adults, Grammie modeled for us; strength, independence and work ethic that is evident in many of us today.

She loved her family....every one of us. Thank you, Aunt Margorie for taking such good care of her for all of us.

And, she is indeed in good company.
