She graduated from Clinton High School in 1935 and married Myron E. Watson in October 1935. She worked for the Clinton Woolen Mill and Besse Brothers Tannery, and she assisted Myron in the operation of Redington's Funeral Home in Clinton. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing for many people.
She attended the Methodist Church. She received a Silver Star Certificate for 25 years of service to the Clinton Grange. She was a member of the Town and Country Trail Riders and the Clinton Senior Citizens. She assisted in developing the school lunch program by cooking food and bringing it into the schools to feed the children.
She accompanied Myron on many hunting and fishing excursions and enjoyed spending time at the Canaan and Moosehead camps. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Myron E. Watson.
She is survived by her two sons, Gerald A. Watson and wife Ruth, and David L. Watson and wife Lila, all of Clinton; a cousin who was more like a sister, Eileen Booker and husband Hollis; longtime special friend, Betty Chandler; grandchildren, Laurie Watson Dale and husband David Dale, Michael Watson and wife Jody, Mark Watson and wife Kim, David L. Watson II and wife Loriann, Matthew Watson and wife LeeAnn, and Missy Watson Parlin and husband Rod; great-grandchildren, Rachel Watson, Matthew Dale, Katherine Watson, Tashia Watson, Devon Watson, Jonathan Dale, Hannah Parlin, Taylor Watson, Lauren Watson, Hallee Parlin, Brielle Watson and Brandon Watson.
The family would like to offer special thanks to all the caregivers that helped Nana and allowed her to stay at her home.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, at Brown Memorial United Methodist Church at 36 Church St. in Clinton. Burial will occur at Greenlawn Rest Cemetery in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brown Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton, c/o John Whitten, 12 McNally Road, Clinton, ME 04927.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Watson Family. June was a warm and caring soul who touched all of us in many ways. I got lots of extra wear out of my cloths growing up thanks to her sewing and mending ability. She will be greatly missed.
