Paul was a man of many talents and interests and worked many years as a cab driver and farmer. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, car races, music and using the computer. He was a member of AA and lived by the following:

And the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
He is survived by four daughters, Penny Campbell of Madison, Alana King and husband Richard of Barrington, N.H., Paula Lewis and husband Joseph of Benton, and Deborah Greene and husband Hawley of Burnham; one son, Paul A. Campbell III, of Florida; four sisters, Linda Willey and husband Teddy of Sheepscot, Nancy Hutchinson and husband Richard of Vassalboro, Patty Williams and husband Craig of Oakland, and Laurie Campbell and friend Lisa of Arizona; a brother, Bruce Campbell, and his wife, Barbara, of Shawmut; and companion Barbara Leister of Madison; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friend Tenley Campbell. Paul was predeceased by three sisters, Peggy Hutchinson, Janice Bartley and Betty Davis.
The family wants to extend a special thank-you to hospice nurses Kim, Holly, Gwen and Jancie, and to Cindy Bartlett from Catholic Charities for all their help and direction.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Paul at his home at 433 Main St., Madison.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in his memory to the Humane Society Waterville Area, 100 Webb Road, Waterville, ME 04901; and the Harold Alfond Center For Cancer Care, 361 Old Belgrade Road, Augusta, ME 04330.

Paul...I will always remember our talks, laughing until we couldn't breathe, those old country songs and the deer farm. We learned many lessons together and I am proud of how far you went....all the way to the mountain....hug Evelyn for me. We'll have coffee and blueberry muffins together soon enough....Robin

Grampy, I didn't know you well, and saw you even less, but the times we did get to spend together are still fresh in my mind.
