He leaves behind his companion of 7 1/2 years, Nancy Olson, of Canaan, with whom he resided; one son, Kenneth Ellis, and wife Kristan; two grandchildren, Zoey and Oliver Ellis (who were Grandpa's pride and joy), of Manless, Mass; his 10 siblings, brothers Arthur, Francis, Walter and Everett, sisters Dorothy, Marjorie, Nancy, Gladys, Barbara, Marianne, most from Plymouth, Mass.; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his three faithful dogs, Sammy, Muffin and Jelly.
He was an associate for Walmart in Waterville. He was employed there for 10 years. While there, he worked in the paint and hardware department. He was called "Bob the Builder" by many people, as he was a builder by trade. Bob had a good sense of humor and smiled for the people who stopped by his booth.
Many thanks go to the doctors and nurses who cared for him. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Waterville Humane Society at 100 Webb Road, Waterville, ME 04901 in memory of Robert N. Ellis.
Arrangements under the direction of Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth, Mass. Calling hours are Thursday, May 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will follow on Friday, May 13, at 11 a.m. in Plymouth, Mass.

Bob, was a very soft spoken kind man that loved his family and his pets. When we worked at Walmart together he spoke often of both.
I am very sorry to hear he has left us.
