LIMINGTON -- Cathy A. Chenoweth, 58, of Doles Ridge Road, died on Sunday, May 1, 2011, in a Scarborough health facility. She was born on May 4, 1952, in Portland, the daughter of Alden and Norma Stevens Nowell. Cathy graduated from Pioneer Valley Academy in New Braintree, Mass., and Mowhegan Community College in Norwich, Conn., with an associate degree in Accounting.
Cathy worked for the Northern New England Conference of Seventh Day Adventists of which she was a member. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, gardening and traveling.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents; and former husband, Gerald Sawyer. Survivors include her husband, Roger Chenoweth; sons, Keith Alden Sawyer and wife Kathleen and David Allen Sawyer and wife Katrina; a sister, Linda Devine; and granddaughter, Shyla Rain Gailey.
There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 3 p.m., at the Limington Seventh Day Adventist Church, Rte. 117, in Limington. Arrangements by Dolby & Dorr Funeral Chapel.
