David Brown Obituary
WESTBROOK -- David L. Brown went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2011, with his wife by his side.
He was born in Norway on Nov. 30, 1944. The son of Vivien and Florence Brown, he attended schools in Norway, Mechanic Falls, and Westbrook. He worked for Sebago Moc, Weyerhauser, and several other Westbrook businesses. He married Susan F. Harris on Oct. 16, 1965.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Jennifer Maple of Gray, Julie Brown-Zinchuk of Scarborough, Karen Brown of Portland, and Kathleen Brown of Scarborough; and three grandsons, Zachary Higgins, Sebastion Demers, and Ivan Zinchuk. He also leaves his sisters, Shirley Gerrish of Dover/Foxcroft, Donna Gregory of Windham, and Dale Brown of Westbrook.
He was devoted to his family and the Lord. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Westbrook.
There will be a graveside service at Brooklawn Memorial Park on Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m.

Julie,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I loved going to your house as a kid. Your Dad was a kind and gentle man, and always made me feel welcome in your home. I always felt like one of the " girls".
