McDougall Jr., 94
BUXTON -- Howard McDougall Jr. passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at the age of 94.
He was born on Sept. 15, 1916, in Portland, to Howard and Mildred Sawyer
McDougall.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Delores Mercedes Gonzales. He is survived by two sons, Richard (Judy) and Frederick (Dona); four grandsons, Richard, Jason, Derrick and Scott; and five great grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous cousins and his good friend, Tony Tardo.
Howard held several accounting positions during his career, including controller of Andrew Higgins Industries and Krauss Department Store.
He was a member of the Boothbay Historical Society and the Clan MacDougall Society.
Watching the daily stock market was his number one hobby. In his later years, he discovered his artistic talent of drawing and watercolor painting.
A graveside service will be held at South Buxton Cemetery on Friday, June 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home of Buxton has been entrusted with arrangements. www.dcpate.com.
