I celebrate your life and gift again today, as I do every day. With every opportunity I'm given, I share the best of you and how that best changed my life. There was never one like you before and there never has been since. I'm a sentimental old fool these days, but I still want the world to know, Bobby Stubbs lived, he loved without reserve, he mastered life in the best way he knew how. Bobby once shared that he feared he'd be forgotten. Indeed, not be me or anyone who knows me.

8 years later and the loss is still pretty raw. I think of Bobby every day. Every patient I treat has a quality of care that is influenced by things that Bobby taught me. He was far smarter and wiser than many knew. He made me a better man and I share his lessons and memory with any and all who will listen. I was honored when he chose me as a friend.
