Aug. 6, 1914 - May 2, 2011
SOUTH PORTLAND -- Roberta Bulger Story, longtime resident of South Portland and summer resident of Corea, passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 96.
Roberta was one of two surviving children born to Katherine Blaney and Winfred Hooper in Woodland. She graduated from St. Croix High School in 1931, then attended Wheelock College and graduated from Gorham Normal School in 1934 (she later received a degree from University of Southern Maine).

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alden; husbands, Bennett Bulger and Raymond Story; and son, Thomas Bulger. She is survived by many loved ones, including son Winfred Bulger and his wife Jean of Parker, Colo., and Trenton, daughter, Anna Belle Bulger MacDonald and her husband Lee of Wallingford, Conn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-children; and many others who considered 'Posey' family.
