Michael Christopher Sweeney

Michael Christopher Sweeney born February 10, 1971 in Bryn Mawr PA, survived by his parents Michael and Letitia Sweeney, his sister Kristin Sweeney-Kerasavich, brother-in-law Peter Kerasavich, and nephew Daschel Kerasavich, died May 30th 2012 at his residence in Levittown, PA. Words can only scratch the surface on the many ways Mike touched people's lives for those who knew him. His charming personality, fun sense of humor, and salesman techniques learned as a business major at Villanova University not only made him someone that could sell ice to an Eskimo, but someone who inspired lots of laughs, and was impossible to forget after becoming a part of your life. Whether it was sports, aliens, politics, or the latest health product, he had already sold you at hello. He never took no for an answer, and would work his opinion into every conversation until you found yourself agreeing without knowing how you reached a conclusion. His kindness, love, and compassion for others were something to truly be admired. Dying prematurely at the age of 41, it is extremely hard for relatives and friends to imagine the times that will be missed with him in the future, but it does bring comfort and solace having shared so many tender moments with him in the past. He was truly loved, and his memory will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Please join us in celebration of his life at the memorial service/mass on Saturday, June 9th at 10:30 AM visitation, followed by Mass at 11 AM at St. John Vianney in Gladwyne, PA.
