Joyce Montgomery Obituary

Joyce Montgomery, (nee Bosler) of Wynnewood, PA, died peacefully on Sat. March 31, 2012 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late John and Esther Bosler. Joyce graduated Lower Merion Class of 1951 and went on to study at the Conservatory of Music in Philadelphia. She taught piano in her home for over 30 years and was a longtime active member of Ardmore Presbyterian Church, were she sang in the Choir and served as a Deacon. She enjoyed travel and the Phillies. She is the beloved wife of Samuel B. Montgomery and is also survived by nieces, a nephew and cousins. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wed. April 4, 11 AM in the Chapel of Ardmore Presbyterian Church, corn. Montgomery Ave & Millcreek Rd., Ardmore PA 19003. Int. Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests contributions be made in Joyce's memory to the Session Memorial Fund at Ardmore Presbyterian Church. Joyce, my friend of 60 years, was the best friend one could ask for- gentle ,kindhearted,compassionate, optimistic, she aways viewed the world through rose colored glasses. I miss her greatly & hold dearly the wonderful memories of our shared life experiences. Joyce made a difference in peoples lives. I planted a rose bush in my garden in her memory. Her spirit will live on & on!
