White Bay and JVD will not be the same with out Bob and the Bob Sled. I became friends with Bob on my many trips to JVD. He was a great friend and even though I would only see him once a year it always felt like we were best friend. I feel blessed to have known him and share a little bit of paradise with him. We only met Bob once, this past year on Anegada. He was such a charming man, so full of life. I know he will be missed.

To Ben, Carrie, Katie, Alex and Debbie we send our sincerest condolences. That Tuesday when we read an e-mail about Bob's passing we were and still are in total disbelieve. We just had dinner with him the previous week-end and spoke with him on the phone at least 4 times that week. We will miss him terribly and he will always be in our hearts.

I just learned of Bob's passing and please accept my sincerest condolences. I knew Bob since our "Stoga" days and always appreciate his smile and kind words. He was truly one of the nice guys.
