Obituary Condolences

Carleen L. Miller a longtime resident of Berwyn, died Sunday, March 3, at Neighborhood Hospice in Westchester, PA. Born October 31, 1929 in Battle Creek, she was raised in Marshall, Michigan. She graduated from Albion College and received a Masters at University of Michigan where she met her beloved husbad, John. After a brief career in teaching Spanish, Carleen stayed at home with her two children and remained a homemaker. Carleen was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church and was an avid bridge player until her health kept her at home. Widowed in 2004 after 52 years of marriage, she is survived by: daughter Karen Pick of Asheville, NC and son David Miller (and wife Susan) of Malvern, PA; grandsons Christopher of Dallas, TX, Joshua and Benjamin of Asheville, NC, Caleb of South Korea, Daniel (and wife Sarah) of Lancaster, PA, and Carl of Malvern; and great-grandaughter Margot. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, March 9, at Wayne Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Neighborhood Health Agencies, Inc., 795 East Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380 or Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087.
