Dorothy Jane Reynolds, passed away on Wednesday, May 21st at 12:05 AM. Dorothy (Deedy) was born on December 14, 1927 in Little Rock Arkansas, grew up in the heart of Chicago and met her Husband Harry W Reynolds at Beloit College where is was a Tri-Delta and a majorette. She continued as an active alumni for Delta Delta Delta. Deedy was a loving mother raising three children, Cathy Skiver, Carol Miller and Jim Reynolds who survive her along with her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Deedy waited until her children were raised to start her second career as an entrepreneur in the travel business taking a fledgling travel business and turning it into one of the first destination type travel companies. She and Harry traveled the world with all their many friends they made along the way. Once retired, Deedy volunteered at Paoli Hospital, the Palm Tree, and Good Samaritan Church. Deedy was one of the lead TV interviewers for Hershey's Mill and performed with the Players Theater. For 43 years she and Harry hosted their family and grandchildren in Avalon for summer vacations, where the tradition continues. Deedy will always be remembered as warm and gentle who loved her family and will be missed dearly. A private family service will be held in her memory. Suggested charities are the America or Cancer Research in lieu of flowers, if you would like to give in Deedy's memory. May Deedy rest in peace.
