Obituary Condolences

Fiona Goddard Engman 56, of Wayne died on August 24th surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer over many years. Fiona was born in York, England on October 11 1956 to Dorothy (deceased) and Norman Goddard. She attended Queen Anne Grammar school in York and later Bingley College. At the age of thirteen she became a big sister to Helen. After leaving college she joined the National Westminster Bank based in London. Fiona lived and worked around London for many years before making the step to join her cousin Linda Stuchell-Leibert in the US. She hugely enjoyed her new life especially the time she spent with the D'Armand family watching Brett and Chris grow up. Later love called and she met and married David Engman (deceased) son of Sonny and Rick Engman (deceased). They enjoyed many happy years together before David's early death. During Fiona's battle she remained consistently cheerful and upbeat. She was known for her kindness and British humour and was thoughtful and caring of others until the end. She loved working for Apple Vacations and her colleagues were a valuable source of strength for her, as were her friends in the Daughters of the British Empire. Fiona is survived by her father Norman Goddard, sister Helen Goddard with partner Ulf Karlsson, cousins Linda Stuchell- Leibert( Stephen ), Lisa , Gary, Suzy, and her extended family in England. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday August 30, 2013 at All Saints' Church, Gypsy LN and Montgomery AVE Wynnewood, PA 19097.
