Francis G. "Frank" Kwiatkowski

Francis "Frank" G. Kwiatkowski, 77 of West Chester, PA Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 22, 1936, the youngest of three children of Stephanie Golembiewski and Ignatius Kwiatkowski and died on May17, 2013. He was predeceased in death by his sister, Regina Schuster, his brother, Joseph Kwiatkowski, and his companion of thirty years, Edward G. Benz of Unionville, P A. Frank was a 1953 graduate of Girard College and also attended St. Joseph College in Philadelphia as an accountant student. Eventually, he enrolled at Wilfred Academy of Cosmetology and received basic training in the finest salons in Philadelphia and New York. As he progressed, he owned and operated two salons on the Philadelphia Main Line for thirty years, catering to the socially prominent nobility, as well as people in stage and theater. Frank was a member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for eight years as a lineman in communications. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening and exercising. He volunteered for the Chester County Hospital, SPCA and was a member of many social groups. His love for sailing through the years took him from the Chesapeake through the Caribbean Islands to South America. He was a contestant on the "Password" TV show in the sixties opposite Arlene Francis and Skitch Henderson. He is survived by his nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be private.
