Frank H. Cutaiar

Frank H. Cutaiar, Cdr., USN (Ret.) 94, died Jan. 15, 2012. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Raymonde. They lived at Lima Estates, Media, and before that lived first in Merion, then Wynnewood for 50 years. He is survived by daughters Antoinette Hoffacker and Bernadette Forster, son-in-law Robert S. Forster, Jr., grandchildren Gwendolyn Wright (Stephen), Robert S. Forster, III (Ann), Catherine S. Forster, M.D., great-grandson Reid, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Naval aviator first in the Atlantic then Pacific theater throughout World War II, he was four times awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross as plane commander of a B-24 Navy Liberator PB4Y-1 bomber. He was later an attorney, also an investment advisor and broker at Goodbody & Co., Kidder Peabody and PaineWebber. He was a member of the Union League and an active member and Elder of Overbrook Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. Services were held January 21 at Overbrook Church, followed by burial with military honors at St. David's Church, Radnor, cemetary.
