George Pennypacker Obituary

George F."Pete" Pennypacker, 79, of Devon, passed away May 19, 2013 in Fairfield, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held at Paoli Presbyterian Church on June 8th, at 11 a.m. Pete was born in Radnor, PA to Charles and Ester Pennypacker on June 17, 1934. He attended Tredyffrin/Easttown High School. He was the owner of Craft Homes Inc., building homes along the Main Line. He was involved in Rotary, participating in various charitable events in the area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and his family. Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ester Pennypacker, his late wife, Roberta T. Pennypacker and his sisters; Audrey Pennypacker and Doris Pennypacker. Pete is survived by his wife, Linda Pennypacker, his two brothers; Charles Pennypacker Jr. and Nelson Pennypacker, his children; George and Barb Pennypacker, Harry and Barb Pennypacker, both of Spencer, NY, Gail and husband Bill Raike, of Jacksonville, FL, Stanley and Tina Pennypacker of Malvern, PA, as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Because of Pete's love of children and generosity to those in need, we ask that donations be made to DEVON-STRAFFORD LITTLE LEAGUE, P.O. Box 674 Devon, PA 19333 or Fairfield Christian Center, P.O. Box 1378 Fairfield Texas, 75840, in lieu of flowers.
