Joephine Jackson Obituary

Josephine S. "Jo" Jackson of Berwyn, PA, born March 4, 1925, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Jo was the wife of the late Walter S Jackson and daughter of the late Stefania and Joseph Suprynowicz. Jo was a 1942 graduate of Technical High School where she had been a majorette and later, the Erie Business School both in her hometown of Erie, PA. After traveling throughout the East Coast with her husband who worked for General Electric, they settled in Berwyn, Pa, in 1967. Jo worked at John Wanamaker's in King of Prussia for many years, finally retiring as manager of HR. She enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, quilting and antique "hunting" with her husband as they called it. Jo also enjoyed traveling with her family, the beach and was especially fond of dogs. Jo is survived by two children: Patricia (husband, W. Allen) Dunstan and Jeff Jackson; four grandchildren; Brian Dunstan, Christopher Dunstan, Bradford Alexander, and Claire Jackson and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, friends and relatives may make Memorial Contributions to National Parkinson Foundation Gift Processing Center PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018
