I just learned of Mr. Kimmel's passing when I called to schedule his annual septic pumping. The phone kept ringing and ringing and suddenly a feeling passed over me. I looked up his name online line and sadly that feeling in the pit of my stomach was correct. Although I have never met Mr. Kimmel I have spoken with him annually every year for the past four years. This doesn't sound like much and it isn't, but it was enough for him to make a mark on me...I always anticipated calling him - even though it was more like shouting on my end (as he could never hear me very well) and he always made me smile. I remember two years ago he sent in his payment but when I opened the envelope it was empty, he forgot to send the check. I called him up and we both got a good laugh out of that...and sure enough, 3 days later, that check arrived. What I am trying to say is this - I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He made an impact on me after minimal contact so I can only imagine what an inspiration he was to all of you. May he rest well.
