Lee Schreiner Obituary

Lee B. Schreiner 70, of West Cape May, NJ and formerly of Bala Cynwyd passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Lee was a longtime resident of Bala Cynwyd before moving to West Cape May three years ago. A man of honor, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Graduating from Cheltenham High School, he went on to attend the University Of Pennsylvania later gaining his Masters in Architecture from Drexel University. Lee started his successful career at Ewing Architecture then onto Stephen Goldner before becoming Partner at Knabb Associates where he spent over 30 years before his retirement. Lee loved and cherished his family more than anything. He enjoyed spending long hours on the drafting table working on different projects, but nothing could compare to the time he cherished watching his kids play soccer and lacrosse from the time they were young boys up until college and at the professional level. He made it a point to never miss any of his children's sporting events no matter what the circumstance. Lee will be dearly missed by his loving family which includes his wife of 46 years, Rosemary (nee McDonough); two sons, Chrisdon (and Rosie) and Todd (and Katharine); five grandchildren, Sophia, Hayes, Abby, Cooper and Stewart. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (Nov. 19th) at 10AM in St. Matthias RC Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA where friends will be received from 9AM until 10AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to: William Penn Charter School, Peter K. Ortale OPC '83 Scholarship Fund, 3000 West School House Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19144. (Spilker Funeral Home, Cape May) info and condolences: www.spilkerfuneralhome.com
