Lucy Belle Perkins On September 22, 2014, Lucy Belle Perkins, age 13, passed away, succumbing to brain cancer. She was at home, surrounded by her family. A vivacious and much loved honors student at Bala Cynwyd Middle School, Lucy was also a cheerleader and in the school play. She loved her family, friends, animals, and music, and was a kind and joyful child. Lucy is survived by her parents, Vashni Nilon and Jeffrey Perkins of Ardmore, a brother, Tate, maternal grandparents Jack and Rita Nilon of Rose Valley: Aunts Wendy Sue Perkins of San Francisco, and Garcelle Beauvais and an Uncle, Michael Nilon of Sherman Oaks, Ca. A Memorial Service, open to all, will be held at Bala Cynwyd Middle School on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Visiting hours will be from 9 am to 11 am. The Memorial Service will be held from 11 am to 12:00.
