Martha Jane Hanson

Martha Jane Moore Hanson formerly of Bryn Mawr, passed away in Vero Beach, Florida, on September 16, 2013. A service of remembrance will be held at Christ by the Sea Methodist Church in Vero Beach, Florida, on November 9, 2013, at 3:00 PM. A gathering of friends and family will follow the service in the church hall. Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by her husband, Peter S. Hanson, Sr., and her grandson, William J. Carver, III. She is survived by her children, Christina H. Carver (William) and Peter S. Hanson, Jr., grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a beloved cousin. The former owner of the Design Studio of Marti Hanson, she was very active in the Main Line community until her move to Florida in 2006. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the McKee Botanical Garden, Vero Beach, Florida, or the charity of your choice."
