Obituary Condolences

Richard D. Holloway 64, St. David's, PA passed away on Sunday December 23, 2012, with his wife Nina Bates at his side. Richard had a sense of humor and liked to kid around with his wife whom he spoiled and called, "His Cuddly Lamb". She called him, "Her Cuddly Bear". He enjoyed being with his family, especially his 7 nephews and 2 nieces. He was kind to children and taught Sunday school at the Church of the Good Samaritan. He joined the Marines during the Vietnam War and served as a radio engineer. He served in the Army National Guard for many years and he received an award for Meritorious Service during Operation Enduring Freedom as a Motor Transport Officer. His squad and platoon leaders commented that Richard gave "Excellent Performance" also gave "Loyalty and Leadership" and "always looked out for his soldiers". A memorial Service will begin at 3PM on February 2, 2013 at the Church of the Good Samaritan Chapel in Paoli, PA. A reception will follow.
