Robert H. Klein

Robert H. Klein 87, of Luther Crest Community in South Whitehall Twp., passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Lazor) Klein. Born in Allentown, Robert was the son of the late Clayton A. and Lillian A. (Kline) Klein. Robert worked in Sales, Marketing and Management for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Robert was a World War II veteran with the Army Air Corp. He was a graduate of Allentown HS and Penn State University. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Allentown, and a former member of Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne. Robert was a Past President of the Penn State Club of Philadelphia (1953-54) and an active member of the Penn State Alumni Association. Mr. Klein was a dedicated volunteer leader throughout his retirement, as President of the Tredyffrin Townwatch Association (for which he was granted a Governor's Award), a Judge of Elections in Tredyffrin Township, a member of the Board of the Old Forge Crossing Condominium Association in Devon and President of the Luther Crest Residents' Association. The family would like to thank Mr. Klein's dear friend Joy Robinson for her companionship and care in his later years of life. Survivors: Son: Robert H. Klein, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Milwaukee, WI; Daughter: Sally A. Klein of Bedford, PA; Grandchildren: Julianne Grau, Andrew Clayton Klein and Nora Emily Klein; Great Grandson: Mason Edward Matthews.
