Salome Veronica "Sally" Kutz

Salome "Sally" Veronica Kutz, 98, of Rosemont, PA, passed away on July 8, 2014. Sally was born in Brockton, MA and worked in Boston where she met her husband, Lester. They lived in Worcester, MA, Park Ridge, IL, and finally moved to the Philadelphia area in 1953 where she raised her family in Rosemont. She was a volunteer at Bryn Mawr hospital, Lankenau Hospital and a longtime member of Aronimink Golf Club. Her love of New England and Cape Cod was well known. In 1975, Sally and Lester purchased a home in Brewster, MA and spent every summer there with her family enjoying "The Cape". Sally worked at B Altman's for many years, was an accomplished painter, an avid bridge player, and had a wonderful flair for interior decorating. Sally was predeceased by her husband, Lester W Kutz and is survived by 2 daughters, Veronica L. Walters and her husband David of Newtown Square and Kristina L. DeWitt and her husband William of Villanova, also 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held at St. David's Episcopal Church on July 17, 2014.
