Suzanne Ott Obituary

Suzanne Austin Ott 88, of Haverford, died Wed. Jan. 9, 2013. She was born Sept. 5, 1924 in Philadelphia to the late Harvey Bancroft Austin and the late Evelyn Catherine Jones Austin of Narberth. She is a graduate of Lower Merion High School, class of 1942, and Drexel University, class of 1946, where she earned a bachelor's of science in Home Economics with a minor in Fashion Design. She was the swim team captain of both Lower Merion and Drexel University. Suzanne had a flair for interior decorating and design. She was a life-long member of Martin's Dam Club and a member of The Merion Cricket Club. She was preceded in death in 2008 by her loving husband of 50 years, Lambert Barnes Ott, and her brother Harvey Bancroft Austin, Jr. She is survived by her loving daughters: Diana Ott Wilder, husband Gordon; and Amy Ott Alexander, husband Todd; grandchildren: Judd Ott Alexander; and Paige Austin Wilder; her sister Mrs. Nathan P. Stauffer, Jr. (Jane); 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Memorial Services will be held, Sat. Jan. 19, 2013, 3:30 PM at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 6376 City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.
