Walter Lobb Geggis

Walter Lobb Geggis of Centreville, MD died at the UMSMC at Easton on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was 72. Born January 2, 1941 in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of the late, William John and Miriam Lobb Geggis. He graduated from The Episcopal Academy in 1958 and from the School of Hotel Management at Cornell University in 1963. Mr. Geggis is survived by his wife, the former, Judith Ewing, whom he married in 1978; two daughters, Andrea Geggis Forsyth and her husband, Jeff of Mebane, North Carolina and Mary Kimberley Cantrell of Linwood, New Jersey; a sister, May Geggis Holgren and her husband, Clifford of Bryn Mawr, PA and one grandchild, Connor Michael Forsyth. Funeral Services will be held at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Centreville, MD on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville, MD.
