David S. Raub, of West Chester, PA, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on June 29, 2018, after a long illness. He fought a very courageous battle right to the end - never complaining. David was born on March 18, 1943 in Fresno, California to the late Dr. Edwin S. Raub and Helen Howell Raub, of Easton, PA. He grew up in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Radnor High School and Ursinus College where he captained both football teams. David’s career as a Special Agent with the DEA of the federal government took him and his family to India for several years in the 1970’s. Upon his retirement, he had a love for driving his school bus for Kraft Bus Company and enjoyed getting his kids safely to school. David had many interests. Some of his joys were spending time at Lake Naomi (PA), working at the Lakes of the Clouds Hut in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, watching the Phillies play, the Eagles win a Super Bowl!, and attending the events of his children and grandchildren. David is survived by his wife, Carol Hansen. He is also survived by his three children, Debbie (Jeff) Greenman, Jeffrey Raub and Michael Raub along with his eleven grandchildren. Dave is also survived by his sister, Ginny Iacone (Joe) and their daughter Beth Condren and son, David (Amy) along with their children, A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, July 21st, at 12 noon at the home of his sister and brother-in-law. Memorial contributions in David’s name can be sent to Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals, 328 Upper Gulph Road, Radnor, PA 19087
