What wonderful memories we have made over the past 60 + years of my life. You were a true "life long" friend to my parents-Bob and Sybil and our whole family. Your yearly trips by Greyhound to our house was a pure pleasure. Our last visit many years ago with you and Grant will always be remembered. Not only were you part of my life growing up but my children's as well. Your "surprise" visits for the birth of my children will be cherished as well as your late night "surprise" phone calls. We will all miss you. May you have rest and peace and eternally have a seat at the pinocle table with your life long friends.

Doris contacted the Lower Merion Historical Society a few years ago, saying she would be willing to share some photos her father had taken, which we did, going to her Gladwyne home to get and later return them. We appreciated her kindness in sharing the past for the future.

When we were little, Aunt Doris always charmed us with stories of the exotic places she visited. I remember her bringing us unusual souvenirs from her travels. What a sweet Auntie.

Aunt Doris will be missed by her extended family on the West Coast. I remember her sharing photos and stories of her adventures and trips around the world, the tales of her numerous cats and Grandfather and her house. She always was one for an adventure and exploring. She was gracious in always remembering my birthday when I was young and I tried to always send her something animal-related for her birthday or Christmas. I will miss her.

Doris will be missed. She was a very interesting and kind person. My fondest memories are those spent with Doris at the Devon Horse Show. Her eyes lit up whenever she was around horses and I was happy to have spent time with her at the shows.
