Fairinda Lamb Atkinson, devoted wife of Colonel Paul G Atkinson USAF Retired (Deceased) died on 6/28/2018 at age 89, a resident of the ACTs community at Brittany Pointe Estates, Lansdale PA, formerly of Valley Forge, PA. Born and raised in Roland Park, Baltimore, MD, youngest daughter of Frances MacRae and John Cotton Lamb, one of ten children. She graduated from Eastern High school and attended the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), earning a certificate in Fashion Illustration. She was a fashion illustrator for Brueggars and Stewart Department stores, and later a graphic designer for Cooke Publishing Co., Devon, PA. Always active in her community both military, civilian and church, she served in a number of leadership and board positions and was named Air Force Wife of the Year for her work in youth services. She is survived by 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 24 nieces and nephews. Memorial Service, Saturday, July 21, 2018, Church of the Messiah Gwynedd, 1001 Dekalb Pike, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002-1941 at 11 AM visitation, 12 PM service, reception following at the Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Church of the Messiah, Lower Gwynedd, PA.
