Kathleen Lynch Obituary

Kathleen Quinn Lynch died on May 18, 2010, of Villanova, Pa., died at the Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pa. She was a beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother whose grace and selfless devotion to others will continue to inspire all of those who knew and loved her. Born March 30, 1942 to John and Alvina Quinn in Lima, Ohio, she is survived by her husband, Rear Admiral Thomas C. Lynch, her brother David Quinn, her children Jill and David Graham, Alison and Dave Reilly, and Tom and Andrea Lynch, and ten loving grandchildren. Friends and relatives were received at The John M. Taylor Funeral Home at 147 Duke of Gloucester Street in Annapolis, Md. on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services and Internment were held at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Leadership Institute at 440 East Swedesford Road, Suite 340, Wayne, PA 19087, or to the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation at 291 Wood Road, Annapolis, MD 21402. Raye just called Peggy to tell us of Kathy's passing last year. We are so sorry we did not learn of this sooner. You are a dear friend, and we would have made every effort to be with you. Kathy was very special to us, and we have wonderful memories of her beautiful and caring personality. I hope that time has helped heal the vacuum and that you are able to move on with your life.
