Obituary Condolences

Margo Ann (Knight) Batdorf 80 years old, 59 year resident of King of Prussia, PA passed away in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA where she was a patient for eight days. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Miller) and Harold Knight. She was the widow of Douglas R. Batdorf who passed away December 31, 1998. Margo had been employed at the Upper Merion Township Building as Supervisor of Accounting/Director of Accounts Payable/ Office Manager from 1961-2001. During and after her retirement Margo served as an Employee Credit Union Committee Board Member. She was a member of the Women's Club of Upper Merion for 15 years where she read the inspiration message at every meeting. She worked at St. John's Soup Kitchen. She was a member of the Upper Merion Senior Service Center for 15 years where she served as treasurer in 2004 and 2005 and was a Board Member for three years. She worked with Meals on Wheels where she delivered meals and assisted with accounting when no longer physically able to deliver meals from VF Presbyterian Church. She was a poll inspector for the Montgomery County Election Board at the Gulph Voting District. She was a charter member of the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church and served as Treasurer of the Church and Nursery School. She is survived by a daughter Susan wife of Dennis McKernan of Birdsboro, PA. She is also survived by a step-son Chuck husband of Noreen of Neshaminy, and two step-daughters: Sue Clohecy wife of David Bergen of Boyertown and Krista wife of Mark Trabbold of Harleysville. She is survived by grandchildren: Joseph Mumma, Jr. husband of Kristina Mumma, Michael husband of Michelle Batdorf, Donald husband of Eileen Renish, Steven Clohecy, Spencer Trabbold and Alyssa Trabbold. Also greatgrandchildren: Elizabeth Mumma, Adam Mumma, Olivia Batdorf and Chapel Renish. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson T. Adam Mumma. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, 191 Town Center Road, King of Prussia, PA. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00-10:30 AM. Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, 191 Town Center Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 or to Horizon Hospice, 600 Clark Avenue, Suite 4, King of Prussia, PA 19406. The Dengler Funeral Home, Inc., Birdsboro, PA is in charge of arrangements.
