Robert Collins 94, of Strafford, PA, passed away at home on October 24. Loving husband of his late wife of 47 years, Jane (nee Whitehead), then the loving husband of his late wife of 17 years, Jane-Eyre Collins (nee Shaw). He is survived by their children and spouses, Jane Guelich (Richard), Barbara Doubman (John), Robert (Dean), Jeffrey (Karen), Mitchell (Irene), Julie Berger (Lawrence), Shawn Morey (Robert), and Ross (Diane). He was the loving patriarch of a family of 68, including 20 grandchildren (11 spouses) and 21 great grandchildren. Bob was a lifetime resident of the Philadelphia area and graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1936. He was a WWII veteran, a professional engineer and owned his own business until his retirement. He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Ardmore. As an avid golfer, he enjoyed membership at Merion Golf Club for 50 years. Memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m., Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Montgomery Ave., Bryn Mawr.
